Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are to ensure that everyone’s stay is as enjoyable as possible. When placing a booking you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. We look forward to welcoming you to Cae Du.

Ball Games

Ball games and frisbees are NOT PERMITTED on site. We have a Family Zone where these games can be played and enjoyed away from pitches.

Bins/Recycling
Please keep your pitch and our site tidy by using the bins provided for disposal of general rubbish and recycling.

Bookings
£50 deposit is required for all bookings and the outstanding balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival. If the balance is not paid 14 days before arrival, we reserve the right to release the pitch without refund.

Pitches are allocated prior to your arrival. If you have a particular pitch you would like, please let us know at the time of booking and, if possible, we will allocate this to you. However, please note we cannot guarantee this.

Acceptance of any booking is not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch.

If you have any special needs or requirements, please be sure to inform us of them when you book.

The person making the booking must be over 18 years old and will be responsible for all members of the party.

All monies paid are not transferable or refundable.

The size of your unit must be stipulated at the time of booking to ensure your allocated pitch is of a suitable size, if this is not done or the size of your unit alters, we cannot accept responsibility if your pitch size is incorrect.

The number of units, people, dogs, awnings, etc. must not exceed that stated on your booking confirmation. The number of people must not exceed the manufactured number of berths of each unit. i.e 4 berth caravan no more than 4 people on a pitch.

The maximum number of people per pitch is 4, more than 4 people will require additional pitch(es) to be booked. WE CAN ONLY ALLOW ONE UNIT (TENT, CARAVAN, CAMPER) PER PITCH.

All facilities and services are subject to availability.

When grass cutting or hedge trimming is taking place, please be patient as we try to complete the work as quickly as possible.

Cae Du reserves the right to refuse admission if necessary and to decline any booking without explanation.

Cancellation of your booking
Deposits and payments are not refundable.

If you wish to cancel your booking, please telephone us immediately and then confirm it in writing.

No refunds will be given if you decide to cut your holiday short due to poor weather conditions etc.

We strongly recommend that you take out an appropriate holiday insurance policy.

Cae Du is not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events ("Force Majeure"). We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover this.

Changes to your booking
If we are given more than 2 weeks notice, you can make changes to your booking/holiday dates providing we have availability on the revised dates. Please note, there will be a admin fee of £10 for making these changes.

Check In Time
Customers can check in from 1:30pm up until 8pm. Please advise at time of booking if you are going to arrive after 8pm. If your estimated time of arrival is past 9:30pm we kindly ask you to come the following morning from 9:30am.

Check Out Time
We ask that customers vacate their pitch no later than 11am. If you are wanting a late check out, for an additional £20 guests can stay until 5pm. Please note this can only be booked in the morning on the day of departure.

Children
Children should be supervised by an adult at all times. Please respect both the park’s plant and animal life by not climbing on trees or damaging our gardens.

Complaints
Whilst we really hope you will never have a reason to complain, if you are unhappy with any aspect of your stay, we ask you speak to a member of staff straight away so we can do our utmost to help.

Conduct/Behaviour
We ask that you respect the peaceful nature of the park. Anyone found to be behaving in a manner that we deem to be unacceptable to other guests or staff members may be asked to leave the park with no refund.

Day Visitors
Day visitors are welcome on site but must report to reception on arrival.

Deposit
To book a pitch we require a £50 non-refundable deposit, and the balance is payable 14 days prior to your arrival. Any total cost under this will need to be paid in full and will be non-refundable.

Dogs
Well behaved dogs are always welcome, however, we ask that they are under an adult’s control and on a lead at all times. Any fouling must be cleared up immediately and placed in the bins provided. Dogs must not be left unattended and any barking must not cause a disturbance to others.

Fires/BBQ’s
We do allow fires in firepits off the ground so the grass is not scorched. Fire pits can be hired from our reception area, however please note these are limited to availability and can only be purchased once on site.

BBQs are also allowed if they are on a stand and leave no scorch marks on the grass, if using disposable BBQs please raise them up off the ground.

Only place BBQs that are completely extinguished and cold to the touch in the rubbish bins.
Fire extinguishers are provided on the park and please ensure your BBQ is kept at a safe distance from your unit and you should be familiar with the current fire safety advice.

Flags/Drones
Cae Du does not allow the flying of flags or drones.

Group Bookings

WE DO NOT ALLOW ANY LARGE GROUP BOOKINGS.
Cae Du is strictly one unit per pitch.
If you would like to make a booking with over 4 occupants or for more than one pitch you MUST contact the office directly on 01766 890660 and availability will be at the discretion of the Park. Group bookings must be agreed in advance and Cae Du reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone not contacting us in the first instance. Separate bookings, resulting in a party of 4 or more people who will/will not be arriving together but intend to use Cae Du and its facilities as a combined group will be refused admission.


Injury/Loss/Theft
Cae Du and their employees shall not be held responsible for any accident, loss, damage or theft to persons, vehicles, caravans, motor homes, trailer tents or tents, contents or accessories, however caused.


Cae Du does not accept responsibility for any personal items/property left on site. However, if found we will forward items on to you if the relevant postage is paid.

Noise
Please respect your fellow campers and keep the volume level of speakers, televisions etc to a reasonable level. Site wardens will be vigilant and you may be asked to keep the noise down if deemed necessary. Please note that after 9:30pm all noise should be kept to a minimum and speakers, televisions etc should be turned off.

Pitching
Please pitch as instructed by reception on your arrival.

Anyone found to be pitched incorrectly may be asked to move or re-pitch.

Please respect your neighbours' peace and privacy and ensure that they are not inconvenienced by your children, pets, noise or by taking "short cuts" across their pitch.

Hook ups – Cae Du cannot accept responsibility for any accident or damage arising from use of faulty or inappropriate electrical equipment.

Any vehicle you bring must fit on your pitch. Please speak to reception when making a booking or you are wanting to amend a current booking.

A breathable groundsheet/mat must be used in your awning if you are occupying a grass pitch.

We ask that any gazebos/awnings etc are pitched as part of the unit's pitch area. Do not take up another unit's space or encroach the fire break between units, otherwise you will be charged for the pitch or asked to remove the gazebo/awning etc.

DO NOT use the electricity to charge vehicles.

Smoking
Smoking/vaping is prohibited in all our buildings and accommodation.

Speed Limit/Vehicles
A strict speed limit of 5mph is to be always adhered to on the site. Drivers must have a valid driving license and current insurance. All roads should be used in accordance with the highway code.

Electric scooters, segways' & hover boards etc are strictly prohibited on the park.

Washing Up/Washing Lines
Dishes are to be washed in the washing up areas and must not be washed in the launderette or shower block hand basins. Please use the launderette facilities for the washing and drying of clothes. Washing lines and rotary lines are not allowed on your pitch.

Cae Du reserves the right to make any changes to the above terms & conditions without prior notice.
